day seven: sing out
one of the many wonderful things about this thick blanket of snow is that by keeping outside activity out, i was able to get really cozy in my house. i cleaned and cooked and only ventured out to teach a heated yoga class and then make some snow angels on the way home. later liz and i had clint and lara over for grilled shrimp/veggie tacos with homemade whole-wheat tortillas and then we watched "harold and maude" under blankets. it's always been one of my favorite movies but i haven't seen it in so long. it's bizare and lovely and makes me want to want to live my life at a higher volume, surrounded by more beauty. and cat stevens does the whole soundtrack, including a really great funeral scene set to "tea for the tillerman" which i love so much.
